This was our very first Christmas together and this year we went to Texas.  It was fun to see all the kids that I took care of the previous summer.  Christmas in Texas was nice and warm, one day it got up to 89 degrees! I will take that any day over the cold, windy, and the snuffles that come with it any day.  It was nice to get away and see the family.  On Christmas Eve day we went ice skating, which is always a treat! Then later that evening we had another family over for dinner and sang songs and read a Christmas Book.  Then it was off to bed we went.  I woke up much earlier than Bryant and was so excited to go out to the tree. After being very patient we went out and Santa had come! It was so much fun watching Bryant open his gifts that I got him.  Some had some very funny stories behind them-but it made me so happy to see how excited he was opening his presents.  This being our first Christmas together I was a little worried that I would not give as much as he gave me or that I would go way over board.  It turned out to be perfect!
